Welcome to Team Kenda Tire, an Elite women’s cycling team based in the Midwest. We are happy that you have come to visit and hope that you can learn more about us as you surf our site.

We formed one of the first all-women amateur racing teams in the Midwest in 1999 with just nine riders focused on excelling at bicycle racing. Over the years, Team Kenda Tire has grown to over sixty riders with ages ranging from 17 to nearly 50, all of whom are passionate about bike racing. Everyone on the team is a competitor.

Wanting to pass on to others what had been made available to us, we created a sizable developmental program featuring Southeast, Mid-Atlantic Elite, Midwest, and West Regional Teams. This unique “hub” structure allows for many local racing opportunities whenever we are not drawing from the entire team for National Race Calendar Competition.
